The Rough Rider paddle offers all three. Slide the hemp rope over the skin for a scratchy warm-up and then ride the waves of sensation with each smack! Watch out for those knots on the back. They’re a perfect reminder of who’s in charge!
Made from a variety of woods, the Rough Rider paddle is woven with hemp rope to create a bound look. The woven rope side creates a deep thuddy impact. Flip it over and the knot and wood side delivers a delightful sting and bruising (for some) pain. Run the rope side over the skin for some rough sensation to tickle the senses on a red sensitive butt for even more fun.
This paddle is small enough to be used for an over the knee spanking or any other way you like. The handle can be wrapped in paracord for comfort. Choose your favorite color from the options in the drop down or skip the paracord and let the natural wood shine through.

Once I saw the paddle, I was VERY impressed!! It was soooo smooth, I didnāt even know wood could feel this smooth, and JB added in wood butter that will help the new paddle stay amazing forever (goodie #1) along with instructions on how to care for it. The rope is very secure and quality hemp rope. We got red and black paracord which was beautifully tied onto the handle (I see you using shabari skills) which helps secure your grip. Itās a very light and comfortable paddle for the user.
For the receiverā¦ only subjective to my opinion but the side with the knots.. OW! Itās defiantly a harder thud with a slight sting. The side with the rope going all the way across it is more straight thud. I love adding this paddle into sensation play bc the hemp rope I could feel on my skin 24/7.

For almost a year of play I’ve been unable to leave a bruise on my girlfriend’s ass. Paddles, canes and crops were all used and while she loved the feeling we both wanted to be able to see her marked up the next day but to nothing worked. Then I saw the rough rider for sale and was curious to see if it could be the tool I needed and it was, an hour of using it bruised her cheeks better than two hours of other toys and she absolutely loved the feeling of the rope on top of the paddle. If you see it for sale get one immediately!

This is the paddle I’ve been most interested in since I first found the Kinkery, so I felt very lucky to be able to get one last time they were in stock (I got the maple wood with purple paracord). My partner has used it on me a few times now and it’s definitely the experience I was hoping for. Before the rough rider I had only experienced a lighter leather paddle and some other toys that are more slappy or stingy, so this definitely increased the intensity of impact play. Love the way the pain reverberates and how the soreness lasts longer after a spanking. I also appreciate that each side is different, so my partner can surprise me with different sensations. I would say the rope side is more of a thud because the rope cushions the wood, while the knot side is more of a smack because the wood is exposed, but both sides can provide a good amount of pain. Great quality and I’m looking forward to trying more from the Kinkery!

I had been looking at this paddle for awhile but for whatever reason just kept not buying it. Finally decided to buy it around Thanksgiving and all I can say is I wish I had done so much earlier. Such a nice weight in the hand. I got the purple/black cord for comfort. The thuddiness is amazing and if you impact with the knot side too it’s a little more stingy so best of both worlds in my opinion. Can be used solo or with partners because of the great size. The hemp rope is perfect for this paddle vs other materials though others might feel nice too. Left the marks after the fact that I so enjoy seeing and feeling. The craftsmanship is exceptional.
