This announcement feels like a long time in the making but really, the idea was born around November 2020 when I fell down a rabbit hole of videos on YouTube. First, it was “how to make stickers” and then it was “studio vlogs making stickers.” From there, I watched reviews and tutorials on Cricut machines, sticker paper, and printers. And here we are…the day we’re ready to share our latest product. In fact, it’s a full category of products with many, many options: Kinky Stickers!
Why Stickers?
Because they’re fun! Because they let you celebrate your kinks! And because I love finding new stickers that show off a side of my personality (including kinky ones I’ve purchased in the past) and wanted to share that love with other people who feel the same way.
We also wanted to offer even more affordable options for kinksters who might not be ready to buy a paddle or cane (or you already have!) but might love something fun and small — like a kinky sticker.
For the record not every sticker will be kink-focused but they will definitely say something. Our first non-kink sticker was a special request based on a Loving BDSM postcard design. This is the It’s Fine sticker. A bit snarky, a bit pleading with the universe to make it so, it says, “It’s fine. I’m fine. Everything is fine.”
How Did You Make Stickers?
The mechanics of the process are fairly simple:
- Print on our Canon inkjet printer
- Cut out on our Cricut Air Explore
But if you’re asking how two people with zero drawing skills managed to make stickers, we have Violet Fawkes to thank for that. Not only is she an amazing sex blogger and writer, but Violet is a very talented graphic artist. I slid into her DMs and asked if she could help me out with some designs to use as future stickers. And she came through big time! (Also, if you’re looking for content or graphics, consider hiring Violet! She’s so easy to work with!)
We currently have more designs planned for the future, including widening the variety of skin tones and body types for the Kinky Butt stickers now available. There’s also a plan for an entire range of kinky balloon animal stickers and paddle stickers beyond what’s currently available in the Kinky Toy stickers. And yes, as new products come out, we’ll let you know! The easiest way to keep up is either by subscribing to the Kinkery newsletter or following us on social media (especially Instagram).
About Our Kinky Stickers
While we tried to launch the stickers with plenty of options, we also still have many more planned, but let’s break it down for you — especially if you know exactly what kind of sticker you prefer.
Die-Cut Stickers
The die-cut stickers are individual stickers printed and cut on glossy paper (currently — this may change to matte paper in the future). They range in size from three-inches wide/long up to five-inches. They’re meant to be stuck on whatever you like — your laptop cover, on a notebook, in your planner, or wherever you stick stickers. We have a sticker board we use as a backdrop for Loving BDSM, so that’s where our stickers go.
Sticker Sheets
Because not everyone wants a single sticker — especially a big one — we decided to also add sticker sheets. We currently have two styles available, with plans for more. One is a variety sheet for three of our kinky toys: Holy Terror paddle, Lolly paddle, and a cane. The sheet includes six stickers in two sizes. We also have a spanking sticker sheet with a variety of round stickers. These are printed on matte paper and are kiss-cut so you can store your sticker sheet until you use up all the stickers.
Planner Stickers
This option is (currently) limited but not for long. For my kinky friends who love to use a paper planner: bullet journals, Erin Condren, whatever you bought at the dollar store, WHATEVER, you can now add a bit of your kinky personality with our stickers. Right now, our planner stickers come in a variety sheet with several designs. Later, we’ll release single design planner stickers so you can schedule or commemorate your kinky fuckery with a sticker.
Seconds
I took some inspiration from an illustrator I follow on YouTube who sells stationary when I decide to add “seconds” to the shop. These are stickers that are perfectly good stickers (they stick, after all) but aren’t actually perfect. Something went wrong in the printing or the cutting process. Instead of wasting the paper, ink, and time, we’ll sell those at a 50 percent discount instead. When they’re gone, they’re gone. Even with the product launch, we have seconds waiting to be purchased. And yes, each description will tell how they’re imperfect so you can decide if that matters to you or not.
Future Plans for More Sticker Designs
Holy hell do I have plans. Weirdly, once I started down this path, I had more ideas than time to make those ideas happen, but they’re coming. The first will be more planner stickers, assuming that’s what y’all want. Next, I plan to add more sticker sheets in different configurations, as well as more designs by working with Violet again. Plus, I’m considering an entire range of stickers that aren’t kinky at all but are definitely part of our personality: Coffee. So. Much. Coffee.
Because of another product I may release in the next few months, I have ideas for stickers featuring titles and labels, too. Including custom options for those titles/labels. So be on the lookout for that, too!
Ordering Stickers
Like everything else we ship, your sticker order will be discreet, and it will be well-protected. Nothing on the envelope or box will say, “THIS PERSON IS KINKY!” We promise.
All stickers will be placed in a cellophane bag to avoid water-damage in transit as part of a multi-step packaging process.
Sticker-only orders will be mailed in a rigid mailer (a stiff envelope) so it’s less likely to be bent in transit.
Orders containing both stickers and larger products will be shipped together but the stickers will be placed securely in the box to avoid damage.
While we try to be eco-friendly with our packaging, we also want orders to arrive safe and with no damage so there will be layers to every order to avoid problems in transit.
So…those are our stickers. If you’re interested, check out the entire collection here: Kinky Stickers. And if you have questions, leave a comment below!
